Delhi plastic factory fire: Death toll rises to 10
New Delhi, Jan 20 (IBNS): At least 10 people have died in a massive fire at a plastic factory in north Delhi's Bawana industrial area, media reports said.
The rescue operations are still underway.
Around 15 fire engines are at the spot.
Some people are also feared to be trapped inside. Few workers of the factory have reportedly jumped from the terrace to save their lives.
The fire was caught in the ground floor initially at around 6.20 p.m. on Saturday.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted to say: "V sad to hear abt large no of casualties. Keeping a close watch on rescue operations."

In a tweet, another minister of Delhi, Satyender Jain, tweeted: "Learnt about a serious fire incident in a private factory at Bawana. Several casualties reported. Monitoring the situation.Ordered enquiry."
