Agra, Feb 18 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with his family on Saturday visited the iconic mausoleum, Taj Mahal, on the second day of his India visit, media reports said.

This is Trudeau's maiden visit to the country.

He has arrived in Delhi, the national capital of India, on Saturday evening.

He is accompanied by Canadian ministers like Navdeep Bains, Amarjeet Sohi, Bardish Chagger and Kirsty Duncan.

Trudeau will stay in India between February 17 and 23.

Trudeau's visit to India has a primary aim to develop and strengthen the trade relations between the two nations.

He will discuss the ways with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create good, middle class jobs for people of both the nations.

Both Trudeau and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi share a cordial relationship with each other.

Last month, both the leaders had met on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
