Accident on Yamuna Expressway kills three doctors from AIIMS

New Delhi, Mar 18 (IBNS): In a tragic incident, an Innova car rammed into a stationery truck on Yamuna Expressway, near Mathura killing three doctors from AIIMS in the wee hours of Sunday morning, media reports said.

Four people have also received critical injuries in the accident and are being treated in a hospital.

According the reports, the Innova hit the truck at 2 AM and the impact of the ramming was such that all the people of the car got stuck resulting in the death of three passengers.

The deceased have been identified as Dr. Yashpal, Dr. Harshad and Dr. Hembala.

Soon after the accident, authorities rushed to the spot and commenced rescue operations with the help of the local people.

The Innova driver too has been shifted to AIIMS for treatment.

According to reports, the doctors were travelling to celebrate the birthday of Dr Harshad.
