Assam: Minor girl gang raped and burnt her to death

Guwahati, Mar 23 (IBNS): Another shocking rape incident has come to light in Assam, where a minor girl was allegedly raped by three miscreants at her own house and the miscreants splashed kerosene on her body and bunt her to death.

The incident was took place at Dhaniabheti Lalung Gaon under Batadraba police station in central Assam’s Nagaon district.

According to the reports, a student of class 5 was allegedly raped by three miscreants at her own resident.

When the minor girl was alone at her house, the three miscreants entered in the house and raped her.

After raping the minor girl, the miscreants splashed kerosene on her body and burnt her to death.

The minor girl was admitted at Nagaon civil hospital in critical condition.

Family members of the victim girl said that, Jagir Hussain, Rahul and Amdalul are the main accused who brutally raped the minor and also tried to kill her.

Meanwhile, family members have been lodged an FIR at Nagaon police station and police started investigation and also launched operation to nab the culprits.

On the other hand, Nagaon district Superintendent of Police (SP) Shankar Brata Raimedhi said that, police has taken the matter very seriously and launched operation to nab the culprits.

Meanwhile, police has arrested two accused persons.

Over 10,000 women, girls were raped in Assam in the past decade.
