Australian PM arrives in India tomorrow

New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS) Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott is all set to arrive in India on Thursday for a two -day visit to the Asian nation.

He is scheduled to  hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi  on Friday.

Abbot will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Hamid Ansari.

During his visit, the Australian Prime Minister is expected to sign off on an agreement which would allow the country to sell uranium to India.

"I am hoping to sign a nuclear co-operation agreement that will enable uranium sales by Australia to India," he was quoted as saying to the country's parliament by The Sydney Morning Herald.
