BJP is running away after destroying peace in Valley: Congress
New Delhi, June 19 (IBNS): The Congress on Tuesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party and said it ended its alliance with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir after destroying the peace in the Valley.
"An opportunistic alliance has come to an end. BJP is running away after destroying the peace in the valley," the Congress tweeted.

Submitting her resignation to Jammu and Kashmir Governor, Chief Minister Mehboob Mufti said she has clarified that her party will not explore any other alliance option in the state.
Speaking to media, Mufti said: "Our stand was that Article 370 will not be taken back and we wanted the special status for the state to continue. I have submitted my resignation to the governor and have told him that we are not looking to explore any other alliance."
Mehbooba resigned after the Bharatiya Janata Party broke its alliance with the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Earlier, BJP's Kashmir In-charge Ram Madhav told media that "it has become untenable for the BJP to continue with PDP."
BJP national president Amit Shah had earlier summoned BJP ministers from the state of Jammu and Kashmir to discuss the end of Ramzan ceasefire, that upset the saffron outfit's ally PDP, according to media reports.
The rift between the two parties- which ran the Jammu and Kashmir government- became prominent once again after the Centre decided to resume the anti-terror operations.
The PDP still maintains that the central government must reach out to the separatists to resolve the crisis in the valley.
