Mumbai, July 3 (IBNS): A bridge collapse in Mumbai's Andheri region left at least five people injured on Tuesday, disrupting the train services in the financial capital of the country.

Following the disruption in railway services, the Railway Ministry ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal visited the spot of the incident and called the episode as 'unfortunate'.

"It is an unfortunate incident, I have ordered an inquiry into this. Commissioner of rail safety will give report in 15 days," Goyal told reporters.

The cause of the collapse is suspected to be heavy rain.
