No one can take law into their hands: Supreme Court on cow vigilantism

New Delhi, July 17 (IBNS): Slamming the cow vigilantes, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said no individual can take law into their own hands, media reports said.

The top court also said it is the duty of the state to ensure order and prevent mobocracy.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday will pronounce verdict on pleas seeking directions to form guidelines to curb cow vigilantism in the country.
