No-Confidence Motion debate begins in Parliament

New Delhi: The debate over a no-confidence motion against the Modi government began in Parliament on Friday with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) flaying the NDA led by BJP for its "unkept promises" and bias against Andhra Pradesh.

TDP MP Galla Jayadev said the Modi government is one of unkept promises and said Andra issues are national issues as well.

He said AP is the new state and not Telangana.

However, Union Minister Ananth Kumar earlier said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is having the full support of its allies.

While interacting with reporters, Kumar said: "NDA has full support of its allies. We will also have support from other political parties. All our allies are together."
