Final hearing in Vijay Mallya's extradition case to be held in UK court today
London, July 31 (IBNS): The final hearing in the extradition trial case of liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya will be held in a UK court on Tuesday.
The hearing in the case will be held in Westminster Magistrates' Court in London.
Mallya, who fled India in March 2016, owes Rs. 9,000 crore to banks and faces trial on different counts ranging from defaulting of loans and money syphoning.
The liquor baron is currently on bail on an extradition warrant since his arrest in April last year.
The London court is expected to set a timeline for a ruling in the case against Mallya on Tuesday.
Mallya was arrested by Scotland Yard over a fraud case but was later granted bail by fulfilling a 650,000-pound bail bond.
