Narendra Modi wishes nation on Janmasthami

New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished the nation on the occasion of Hindu festival of Janmasthami.

"Janmashtami greetings to everyone," Modi tweeted.

While it was celebrated in some parts of the country on Sunday, the remaining nation is observing the festival on Monday.

Janmasthami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.
