PM Modi talks to Malyalam superstar Mohanlal, impressed by his humility

New Delhi, Sept 4 (IBNS) : Malayalam superstar Mohanlal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Janmashtami (September 3) giving rise to speculations over the possibility of his joining the BJP.

During the meeting, Mohanlal discussed various topics with the prime minister.

He also briefed him about the social initiatives carried out by his VishwaSanthi Foundation towards the betterment of underprivileged people in the health and education sectors.

Impressed by the humility of Mohanlal, Modi on Tuesday shared a picture with the actor and wrote on his twitter page, "Yesterday, I had a wonderful meeting with @Mohanlal Ji. His humility is endearing. His wide range of social service initiatives are commendable and extremely inspiring."

The Odiyan actor also took to Twitter to share a picture with Modi. He also revealed that the prime minister assured his support in building a new Kerala after the devastating floods.
