Air India flight lands on wrong runway in Maldives, passengers safe
Male, Sept 7 (IBNS): In a major security lapse, an Air India flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Maldives city of Male landed on the wrong runway on Friday, reports said.
More than 100 passengers traveling int he flight are safe, reports said.
The runway on which the flight landed is non-operational.
Air traffic tracker Flightradar24 tweeted: "Air India flight #AI263 landed at the nonoperational runway (under construction) at Male Velana International Airport in the Maldives."
