Jammu and Kashmir: 5 terrorists killed in Kulgam encounter

Srinagar, Sept 15 (IBNS): Security forces killed five terrorists during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam area on Saturday, the police said.

The Kashmir Zone Police tweeted: "5 #terrorists belonging to proscribed terror outfit HM & LeT eliminated in an #encounter at Qazigund #Kulgam today. Arms & ammo recovered.Check the link for details: https://m.facebook.com/story.phpstory_fbid=2019698921383809&id=554952907858425 …

Police said weapons have been recovered from the site of the encounter.

The J&K Police tweeted: "All five killed.Weapons recovered from encounter site."

Former Jammu and Kashymir Police Chief SP Vaid congratulated security forces and posted: "Congratulations for huge success in Kulgam , keep the good work going boys."
