Kolkata, Sep 17 (IBNS): At least eight persons, including five policemen, were injured during a clash between two local groups over a football match at Sahid Smriti Colony under Panchasayar Police Station limits in southeast Kolkata on Sunday late night, reports said.

According to reports, people from Sahid Smriti Colony's A and C blocks engaged in a clash with each other, following a local football match at around 1 pm. on Sunday.

When policemen from Panchasayar Police Station reached the scene, locals had started brick batting aiming at the police force, assaulted cops and vandalized police vehicles.
