Rafale deal: Rahul Gandhi calls Anil Ambani PM Modi's BFF
New Delhi, Oct 7 (IBNS): In a fresh attack on industrialist Anil Ambani over the Rafale deal scam, Congress President Rahul Gandhi said when one has Prime Minister Narendra Modi as BFF (Best Friend Forever), it is not an issue to get the 1,30,000 Cr. Rafale deal, even without relevant experience.
In his tweet, Gandhi cited a report which claimed that the Jammu and Kashmir government has selected Reliance General Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ambani's Reliance Capital, to provide health insurance for its employees, pensioners and accredited journalists.
On Saturday, Gandhi tweeted: "When your BFF is the PM, you can get the 1,30,000 Cr. Rafale deal, even without relevant experience. But wait. There’s more!
Apparently, 400,000 JK Govt staff will also be arm twisted into buying health insurance ONLY from your company!"

The political row erupted after former French President Francois Holande said the Indian government had urged France to nominate industrialist Anil Ambani's Reliance Defence Industries as its partner in the Rafale deal by India.
Earlier speaking at a rally, Rahul had said: "PM goes to France and changes the deal and gives it to Anil Ambani. French President admits that Govt of India gave them no choice but to choose Anil Ambani's company. This is a ₹30000Cr theft."
