New Delhi, Oct 12 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the Congress' petitions alleging fake voters' list in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, media reports said.

The two separate petitions were filed by Kamal Nath and Sachin Pilot, who are the Congress chiefs in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively.

A bench of justices AK Sikri and Ashok Bhushan said the petitions have been dismissed.

The state polls will be held on Nov 28 in Madhya Pradesh and on Dec 7 in Rajasthan.

The Congress is eyeing on to wrest power in both the states, which are presently ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

A recent poll survey has predicted the Congress will go past the BJP in both the state elections.

The poll results will be declared on Dec 11.
