ED raids Amnesty International's Bengaluru office

| @indiablooms | 25 Oct 2018, 01:48 pm

Bengaluru, Oct 25 (IBNS): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday raided the Bengaluru office of human rights organisation Amnesty International, media reports said.

The raid was conducted since 2 pm.

Couple of weeks ago, the ED had raided the Bengaluru offices of Greenpeace, another non-profit global Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), and other establishments associated with it.

The investigators suspect Greenpeace is receiving foreign funds, a charge refuted by the environmental organisation.
