Bhopal, Oct 30 (IBNS): After a day-long schedule in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday went to an ice-cream parlour to spend some quality time with his party members.

Rahul, interestingly, offered a spoon of ice-cream to a child, who had visited the ice-cream parlour.

A video which has been shared by the Congress on its Twitter handle, Rahul could be seen along with state party chief Kamal Nath and leader Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Rahul even asked the child saying, "Hello! Will you take ice-cream?"

Rahul began his two-day visit to the state on Monday.

The state polls will be held on Nov 28. The counting of votes will take place on Dec 11.

The Congress, under the leadership of Kamal Nath and Scindia, is eyeing on to wrest power in the state.

The Madhya Pradesh poll is crucial for both the Congress and ruling BJP ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in few months' time.
