Ananth Kumar death: Karnataka government announces three-day mourning
New Delhi, Nov 12 (IBNS): The Karnataka government on Monday declared three-day morning following the death of Union Minister Ananth Kumar.
"Three-day mourning and a holiday declared today, to mark the sad demise of Uni.Minister Anantha Kumar. His last rites will be performed with all Government honour, the CM said. The CM will reach National College grounds from Mysuru today to pay his last respects to #AnanthaKumar," Chief Minister's Office, Karnataka, tweeted.

Ananth Kumar passed away at a hospital in Bangalore in the wee hours on Monday.
The senior BJP leader was 59.
He was suffering from cancer.
In the PM Narendra Modi-led government, he was holding two portfolios-Parliamentary Affairs and Chemicals and Fertilizers.
According to reports, his wife and two daughters were beside him in his last moments.
He had represented south Bengaluru constituency as an MP for six times.
