Hyderabad, Nov 14 (IBNS): The Congress on Wednesday released the second list of candidates who will contest the upcoming Telangana assembly elections.

The second list comprises names of 10 candidates.

In the first list, which was released earlier this week, featured names of 65 candidates.

The Congress is fighting the state polls in an alliance with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's Telegu Desam Party (TDP), CPI and Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS).

The Congress, which is having a bitter relationship with the ruling Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS), is expected to fight in 94 out of total 119 assembly seats.

The state polls will be held on December 7 and the results will be declared on 11th of the same month.

Though the term of the assembly was scheduled to end in May 2018, Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao dissolved the assembly early and went to polls.
