J&K flood: Bhutan's King writes to Governor NN Vohra
"It was with the greatest unhappiness that I received news of the calamitous floods and landslides in Jammu and Kashmir, which has resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, as well as injuries and damage to property," Jigme Khesar wrote.
"Please accept my deepest condolences to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We offer our prayers for those who have lost their lives, and that the ongoing rescue operations succeed in bringing relief to those who are still stranded," he said.
"I wish you, and the bereaved families, the strength and fortitude to navigate this difficult time," the King said.
Meanwhile, the governor has replied to the King to thank him for his kind concern.
