BJP won't stake claim to form MP government, says Shivraj Chouhan

Bhopal, Dec 12 (IBNS): Outgoing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won't stake claim to form the government in Madhya Pradesh.

Chouhan said the BJP won't stake claim as the party has failed to get the simple majority.

The BJP got 109 seats while Congress won 114 seats.

The half-way mark in 116.

The BSP has already offered support to the Congress to form the government.
