Rajasthan: Gehlot's ministers set to take oath

Jaipur, Dec 23 (IBNS): A number of ministers in the Ashok Gehlok government in Rajasthan are expected to take oath on Monday, media reports said.

Swearing in of the Congress' Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh governments are likely to take place on Tuesday.

According to Hindustan Times, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has approved Gehlot's list of candidates for the post of ministers. Rajasthan can have a maximum of 30 ministers.

The ministerial posts are expected to be divided in a 50:50 basis between Gehlot and deputy chief minister Sacin Pilot loyalists.

“It is not [going to be] a full-fledged cabinet [expansion]. More ministers may be inducted later,” the report quoted a Congress leader as saying. Between 20 and 25 ministers are expected to take oath on Monday.
