KCR likely to meet PM Modi in New Delhi today
New Delhi, Dec 26 (IBNS): Days after meeting Naveen Patnaik and Mamata Banerjee over federal front, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital on Wednesday.
Rao, who is presently in New Delhi, will meet Modi for the first time after sweeping the Telangana assembly elections.
Rao, who is also the Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) chief, is scheduled to meet Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday, report said.
Rao met Odisha chief minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief, Patnaik, on Sunday to discuss his proposed front.
Answering a question on the Congress referring to the TRS as the BJP's B-Team, Rao said it had become a joke, to which Patnaik agreed with an "exactly".
Briefing media jointly after the meet with West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo, Mamata, in Kolkata, Rao on Monday said, "Non-Congress front is my mission. I will continue my effort. This is not a small matter. Wait for the right time. The dialogue continues."
