Madurai, Dec 26 (IBNS): With few months to go for the 2019 General Elections, yoga teacher Ramdev has said it is tough to be sure as to who would be the next Prime Minister of the country, NDTV reported.

Speaking at Madurai, Ramdev, who is known to be close to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said it is tough to say who would be the next Prime Minister considering the difficult political situation in the country.

But the situation is also interesting, he added.

Ramdev's comment came days after the BJP lost to Congress in the state polls held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, which forms the Hindi heartland of the country.

In 2014, Modi-led BJP swept the Lok Sabha polls, reducing the Congress to 40 odd seats.
