KCR meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 26 (IBNS): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Rao discussed several issued related to the state with the PM, officials said.

A tweet posted by Telangana CMO said: " Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao met Hon'ble Prime Minister Sri @NarendraModi Ji today in New Delhi and discussed various issues pertaining to the State."

During the meeting  with the PM, the CM, who has been meeting several political leaders in the country in recent times, demanded for the transfer of the Bison/Polo ground, a defence land in Secunderabad, for the construction of the new Secretariat, establishment of the Indian Institute of Informational Technology (IIIT) in Karimnagar and establishment of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Hyderabad, among others.

Under the leadership of KCR, his TRS party registered a landslide victory in the assembly polls in the state recently
