Sushma Swaraj meets visiting Norway PM Erna Solberg, exchange views on expanding ties across all sectors

New Delhi, Jan 8 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday met visiting Norway PM Erna Solberg and exchanged views on expanding ties across all sectors between the two nations.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "EAM @SushmaSwaraj called on PM of Norway @erna_solberg today morning. Good exchange of views on expanding ties across all sectors. Immense opportunity to cooperate in blue economy, shipping, fisheries & aquaculture and renewable energy."

The bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Norway leader was held on Tuesday.

Norway PM in India:

Erna Solberg is currently on a three-day trip to India.

She arrived in India on Jan 7.

She will be here until Jan 9.

Norway has not offered to mediate between India, Pakistan: says Envoy refuting media report
