Narendra Modi prays for Rakesh Roshan after Hrithik reveals his cancer diagnosis
Mumbai/ New Delhi, Jan 8 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday prayed for the good health of director Rakesh Roshan who has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
Calling him a 'fighter', Modi tweeted: " Dear Hrithik, praying for the good health of Shri Rakesh Roshan Ji. He is a fighter and I am sure he will face this challenge with utmost courage. @RakeshRoshan_N."

Hrithik Roshan reveals his father is suffering from throat cancer:
Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, who has directed movies like Koyla and Karan Arjun, has been diagnosed with "squamous cell carcinoma of the throat" (throat cancer), his actor son Hrithik Roshan confirmed on Tuesday.
Hrithik also said that his father will undergo surgery for it.

The actor shared an Instagram post, where Rakesh could be seen in a gym with his son, and wrote: "Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him."
