Saudi Crown Prince arrives on first State Visit to India
New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on his arrival in India after his two day visit to Pakistan.
This is the visiting dignitary's first State Visit to India.
India blames Pakistan for a suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14 that killed 40 Indian soldiers.
The crown prince and PM Modi are expected to hold bilateral talks on Wednesday. Trade between the two countries was $27.5 billion last year, said reports.
In November 2018, the two leaders had last met at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
The two countries are expected to sign five agreements during the visit in areas of investment, tourism, housing and information & broadcasting, The Indian Express said.
