Chennai, Feb 22 (UNI/IBNS) Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister and AIADMK Coordinator O Panneerselvam on Friday met BJP President Amit Shah when he arrived in Madurai to address  the BJP booth level workers and a rally at Ramanathapuram  ahead of the Lok Sabha poll.

Talking to reporters, Panneerselvam termed the meeting  with Mr Amit Shah at the Madurai airport as a courtesy call.

Replying to questions on the alliance, he said, the AIADMK, which had finalised the seat-sharing pact with the PMK and the BJP, would finalise the alliance with the DMDK led by actor Vijayakanth.

''The alliance talks are continuing and it will be confirmed in one or two days'', he added.

On DMK President M K Stalin, springing a surprise by calling on Vijayakanth earlier in the day, Panneerselvam said the  DMK Chief has said that he met him only to enquire about his health condition.

Stating that the alliance formed by the AIADMK would be victorious, he said the AIADMK was prepared to face the elections whenever it was announced.
