Lucknow, Feb 28 (UNI/IBNS) : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for continuing with electioneering by addressing 15,000 party workers through a mega video conferencing when the nation's 'security is in danger'.

Mayawati also expressed her concern over an Indian pilot being taken as prisoner in Pakistan.

"Indian Air Force has should be lauded for foiling the air attack attempt by Pakistan,' Ms Mayawati tweeted on Thursday.

She said that the Indian government should make all efforts to release the pilot, who is in Pakistan's custody.

In another tweet, the BSP president said, "When the war situation is mounting, the Prime Minister should concentrate on the country's security. But it is unfortunate that instead of being concerned, the the PM is more interested in addressing the party workers which shows his real intentions."
