OIC: Sushma Swaraj meets Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen

Abu Dhabi, Mar 1 (IBNS): Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday met Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen in Abu Dhabi.

She is currently attending the  OIC Foreign Ministers Meeting in Abu Dhabi.

As per MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar, the two leaders discussed issues of bilateral importance during the meeting.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the event.

"Good exchange of views on issues of bilateral importance in EAM @SushmaSwaraj meeting with Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr AK Abdul Momen on the sidelines of #OIC Foreign Ministers Meeting in #AbuDhabi. #NeighbourhoodFirst," Kumar tweeted.

The 46th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation is being held in Abu Dhabi on Mar 1 and 2.

Sushma Swaraj has been invited by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates as the "Guest of Honour” to address the Inaugural Plenary.
