Moga, Mar 15 (UNI) The alliance between the Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was on final stage as both parties would hold meeting at Chandigarh on March 17 to give final touches of the alliance.

Announcing this here on Friday, SAD (Taksali) spokesperson Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad said that he alongwith SAD (Taksali) secretary general Sewa Singh Sekhwan met AAP leaders Harpal Singh Cheema, Manjeet Singh and Navdeep Singh on Thursday and it was decided that a meeting would be held at Chandigarh on March 17 to give final shape for the alliance.

He claimed that almost all issues have been sorted out and said the Taksalis made it clear to AAP leaders that SAD Taksali would not tolerate if AAP entered in to alliance with Congress in any part of the country. He alleged that Congress was responsible for the Operation Blue Star and 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Leader of Opposition, Harpal Singh Cheema, when contacted, confirmed Thursday's meeting and said that all differences between the two parties were almost clear except Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha seat.

Cheema made it clear that the AAP was not going for any alliance with Congress or any other party.
