Lucknow, Mar 18 (UNI/IBNS) Following Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati's tweet, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav also hit out at the Congress, after the latter's announcement on leaving seven seats for the SP-BSP-RLD alliance in Uttar Pradesh.

In a tweet on Monday, Akhilesh said, "The SP-BSP-RLD alliance is capable of defeating the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Congress should not create any confusion."

Earlier, Mayawati had also posted a tweet, saying that Congress should refrain from creating confusion among the people and that it is free to contest the polls on all 80 Lok Sabha seats of the state.

Congress state president Raj Babbar had on Sunday announced that their party will leave seven seats for the alliance leaders in UP.
