Narendra Modi pays tributes to Manohar Parrikar
Panaji, Mar 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited Panaji and paid tributes to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
Parrikar died on Sunday after ending his battle against cancer.
Sharing images, Modi tweeted: "Paid tributes to my friend Shri Manohar Parrikar. He personified humility, simplicity and compassion. The good work he has done will be remembered for years to come."

Parrikar was 63.
He had also served as the Defence Minister of India in his political career.
