Vijayawada, Mar 20 (UNI) Popular Telugu film actor and producer Konidela Nagendra Babu, popularly known as Naga Babu joined the Janasena Party here on Wednesday.

Nagababu was the elder brother of Janasena Party founder Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan admitted him into the party by wrapping the party scarp.

Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said that he had taken him into the party after recognizing his political consciousness.

Kalyan said that his elder brother had clear understanding on the present political scenario. He announced that his brother would contest from Narsapuram Lok Sabha constituency in West Godavari district in the election to be conducted on April 11.

Speaking on the occasion, Naga Babu said that he had entered politics responding to the call of his younger brother Pawan Kalyan and after giving up all other activities.

Speculation had been rife on Naga Babu joining in the Janasena party since last December.

Naga Nabu attended the public meeting, organized in Rajahmundry on the occasion of Janasena party formation days few days ago.

It may be mentioned here that actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu were younger brothers of former Union Minister K Chiranjeevi, who floated Praja Rajyam party and later merged it in the Congress party.
