Samir Dudhgaonkar to join Bharatiya Janata Party

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 20 (UNI) Giving another jolt to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Samir Dudhgaonkar, son of former MP and senior leader of NCP Ganeshrao Dudhgaonkar from Parbhani in Marathwada region is set to join Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in next two days.

Talking to UNI, Samir Dudhgaonkar on Wednesday said, ''I decided to join BJP on the issue of development and I want work for development in Parbhani which is still deprived from numbers of developmental works.''

When he was asked whether his father was agreed to his decision, Samir said, there was some ideological differences and I have taken this decision in my own capacity, he said.

He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of development as well as Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis in the state who was giving an opportunity to the new generation in politics.

Dudhgaonkar said, "I met the state CM Fadnavis and state president, Raosaheb Danve in this regard on Wednesday."

It may be noted that BJP has succeeded to clinch Sujay Vikhe-Patil, son of state opposition leader Radhakrishna
Vikhe-Patil and Ranjit Mohite-Patil, son of Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil in BJP fold .

Meanwhile, state medical minister, Girish Mahajan disclosed on Wednesday that more leaders from Congress and NCP are likely to join BJP in coming days.
