Kalaburagi, Apr 1 (UNI) Senior Congress leader M Mallikarjun Kharge today took strong exception against BJP Karnataka President terming AICC President as 'Bachha' and said that "this type of using words shows his poor culture".

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Kharge said that abuse is BJP's best defense, but electorates of the country are observing very closely and will give a befitting reply in the General Elections. "Using this type of silly wards not useful for Mr Yeddyurappa , if he feels Mr Rahul was lier than he may file defamation case against him instead of abusing," he added.

Opposition leader in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Yeddyurappa on Sunday took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and called him 'KID' (Bachha) for referring to Dairy issue and alleging that he had given Rs 1800 crore to senior BJP leaders including Union Ministers.

Meanwhile BJP senior leader and former MLC K B Shanappa today Joined Congress party and Kharge welcomed him into the party fold.

Shanappa had quit BJP recently in protest against denying him the ticket for contesting from Kalaburagi and selecting Dr Umesh Jadhav.
