Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 6 (UNI) The Malayalam edition of "Narendra Modi: Creative Disruptor - The Maker of New India" written by BJP national leader R Balasankar was released in Kerala.
Swami Shivamritha Chaitanya, head of Amritanandamayi Ashram in this City, handed over the first copy of the Malayalam edition to senior BJP leader and MLA O Rajagopal here on Friday evening.
Speaking on the occasion, R Balasankar who isCo-convenor of BJP’s Department on National Training Programme and Department of Publications, said the book, its Marathi edition is already on the street, is being translated into eight languages including in Urudu.
The book discusses all the controversies and allegations including Rafael defence deal levelled by distractors and critics of Modi.
Claiming that many points mentioned in the book on Rafael deal were not questioned or contended by Opposition parties, he said the book is also covers various pro-poor welfare programmes implemented by the Modi Government.
The book also covers various contentious issues like minority affairs, GST, demonetisation and foreign policy, he added.
He also hoped that the Urudu edition of the book will be widely accepted in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Muslim countries.
Dr R. Balashankar, a political analyst, activist and academic, was former Editor of Organiser weekly and former National Convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Intellectual Cell.
He was advisor to Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, the Union Minister for HRD and Science and Technology, in the Vajpayee Government from 1998-2004.
Balashankar headed the Sant Kabir Chair for Development Communication of the Kushabhau Thakre University, Raipur.
He is a regular columnist for NDTV, Outlook, DailyO and many other publications.
He has also authored two more books—Agitation against Bengal Partition and History of Indian Telecommunication.
