CPI(M) and Congress joining hands in Tripura to dislodge stable govt at the Centre: Modi
Udaipur, Apr 7 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused CPI(M) and Congress of joining hands to dislodge the stable government at the Centre.
Speaking at the election rally here in favour of BJP candidates for the two Lok Sabha constituencies, he said Leftist and Congress were criticising the different development policies launched by Modi government.
"While Congress and CPI(M) fight among themselves here in Tripura, they maintain good relation in Delhi," Mr Modi said and added that the opposition parties were always ready to criticise Modi government.
The people of Tripura are optimist and they were awaited for BJP, they did not believe in Mamata Banerjee but TMC was tried in Tripura to do something.
The Prime Minister said that people of Tripura were waiting for BJP to bring in the change. Mamata Banerjee's TMC, too, tried to make inroads, but failed, he added.
Harping on BJP's double engine formula, he said it is important to have a strong government in the Centre and the state, and the double engine of growth will ensure bright future for the country.
The present central government has formed Tribal Welfare board in the country for the first time and working for the development of tribal people, Mr Modi said.
The people of Tripura set an example in the country that people of the state can bring change if they want, he said.
