Rahul, Priyanka and Scindia to hold joint rallies in UP tomorrow

Lucknow, Apr 14 (UNI): After giving a miss to western Uttar Pradesh where polling was held in phase one, Congress president Rahul Gandhi along with his sister and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and another AICC general secretary Jyotiraditya Scindia will hold a joint rally at Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha seat in Agra on Monday where UP Congress president Raj Babbar is the candidate.

The Congress leaders are also slated to hold joint rallies in Aligarh and Nagina Lok Sabha seats too on the same day.

All the three seats where the Congress leaders will go to the polls for phase two on April 18 where the last day of campaigning is Tuesday.

Party sources here on Sunday have confirmed about the three election meetings of Rahul, Priyanka and Jyotriyadiya in Fatehpur Sikri, Aligarh and Nagina on April 15.

Rahul Gandhi will hold joint election meeting with his sister Priyanka in Barabanki seat on April 23, in Bundelkhand on April 24-25, in Unnao on April 26 and on April 27 in Sitapur and Dhaurahra Lok Sabha seats.

Sources said Rahul and Priyanka are also slated to campaign in Wayanad in Kerala on April 20-21, from where Rahul is contesting along with Amethi.

Earlier in the first phase of polls held in 8 seats on April 11, Rahul Gandhi gave a total miss. However, Priyanka held road shows in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Ghaziabad in this phase to boost the party's candidates prospect.
