Haryana Police arrests four members of Chippi Gang

Chandigarh, Apr 16 (UNI) In an effort to nab dreaded criminals and its gang members, Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Haryana Police has arrested four members of notorious Anil Chippi gang from Jhajjar district.

Stating this here on Tuesday, a spokesman for Police Department said that arrested accused were identified as Kuldip alias Kallu of village Kheri Khumar, Neeraj alias Chippi of village Silana, Vinay alias Birla of Haripura Mohalla and Sachin alias Bihari, a native of Mata Gate, Jhajjar city. All were arrested by a team of CIA following specific inputs.


During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that all gang members were involved in several heinous criminal cases. All of them had several criminal cases registered against them. At least, seven cases pertaining to murder, attempt to murder, robbery and snatching in Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, Panipat and Ambala districts were unearthed with their arrest.


He said that Police has got secret information that four members of Anil Chippi gang were gathered near Jhajjar-Gurugram road bypass bridge, to plan their next criminal activity. CIA sleuths immediately swung into action and nabbed all four gang members from the spot.


They have been allegedly involved in murder of school operator Dharmender alias KK in March 2019, killing of Ajay alias Danka in February 2019, murder of Maharaja Hotel operator Satish in April 2019, fired gun shots on a liquor contractor in March 2019 and other incidents of robbery in Yamunanagar, Panipat and Ambala districts.


All accused were produced before the court, and later sent them to two day police remand for further interrogation.
