EC orders repoll in nine Odisha booths on April 25

Bhubaneswar, Apr 23 (UNI): Re-polling will be held in nine booths of Odisha on April 25, chief electoral officer Surendra Kumar said here today.

The Election Commission of India ordered re-polling in nine booths following the recommendation of Kumar.

Election to these booths could not be held during the second phase of election in Odisha on April 18 last due to wrong connection of EVM with VVPAT machines and other reasons.

The nine booths where repolling would be held are - Uparpada Kendrikela UG UP School under Bonai constituency, Rangadhipa UP School under Sundargarh constituency, Bahadajhola and Betanati under Daspalla constituency, Areigudi under Attabira Assembly constituency, Shakti Nagar Primary School under Bargarh Assembly constituency, Dava under Padampur Assembly constituency Brajarajnagar under Brajarajnagar Assembly constituency, Renti under Sorada Assembly constituency.
