Speed breaker didi just wants to get people from Bangladesh to oust me : Narendra Modi
Bolpur, Apr 24 (UNI) Describing her as the 'speed breaker didi', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said she wants to use people from Bangladesh to oust him.
Addressing a public meeting here in Birbhum district, Modi said, " Till the time law and order situation improves in West Bengal, it will never taste development. "
He said, " The BJP at the Centre has made schemes worth of crores to improve developmental projects in West Bengal; but 'speed-breaker didi' has not allowed any of the projects to come through, including the Ayushman Bharat project. "
The Prime Minister alleged, "The government of West Bengal does not allow subsidies which are sent from Delhi for the people of West Bengal. 'Speed breaker didi' does not let the entire subsidy pass to the locals. "
“To remove 'Speed-breaker' Didi, you will have to strengthen this Chowkidar. I urge you to go and vote for BJP,” Mr Modi said.
“It is my privilege that today not only the country but the whole world is preaching of your chowkidar. If Didi has the power of goons, we have the power of democracy. The countdown of tyrannical rule of TMC will end when we again form government on May 23 in the country,” the Prime Minister said.
" It seems everyone wants to be Prime Minister, any party fighting from 20 or 25 seats wants to claim PM’s post, " he remarked.
“Everybody wants to be a prime minister from the Opposition's camp. But you tell me, who is the face of national security – who will eliminate terrorism and terrorists? " Modi asked.
He said, " The previous governments could never negotiate a subsidised price for gas cylinders and electricity. But the Modi government accomplished what the previous governments couldn't. "
The Prime minister said, " Reports coming after first three phases of elections indicate that the sun has started to set on the political empire of Mamata didi. "
