Kolkata, May 11 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered re-polling in three booths of as many Lok Sabha seats on Sunday, the day when eight other LS parliamentary segments are going to the penultimate phase voting.

The ED ordered re-polling in Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency's booth no.116 at Kanchrapara Udbodhoni Madhyamik Vidylaya under Bijpur Assembly segment, Hooghly Lok Sabha consituency's booth no. 110 at Netaji Pratomik Vidyalaya in Tarakeswar under Arambagh Assembly segment and Birbhum Lok Sabha constituency's booth no. 52 at Ketugram in East Burdwan district under Bolpur Assembly segment.

While re-polling in Barrackpore was ordered due to non-erasing of mock polling figure, polling at Tarakeswar was necessitated as TMC student leader Maharaj Nag allegedly provoked the elderly voters. In Birbhum re-polling has been ordered owing to some problem allegedly during polling which went viral in the social media.
