Mumbai, May 14 (UNI): Jet Airways CFO and deputy CEO Amit Agarwal has resigned from the company for personal reasons, the airline said on Tuesday.
The cash-strapped airline said in a regulatory filing that the resignation is with effect from May 13.
The airline has been facing a mounting debt of more than Rs 8,000 crore. The airline has forced to ground its more planes due to non-payment of amounts outstanding to lessors under their respective lease agreements.
Meanwhile, Jet Airways’ full-time director Gautam Shetty has earlier resigned from the company's board of directors for financial reasons.
