New Delhi, May 26 (UNI): Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Chandni Chowk Alka Lamba has announced that with the end of her tenure the next year, she would be parting her ways from the AAP.
“The journey which began in 2013 with you will come to an end in 2020,” she tweeted and extended good wishes for the party workers hoping they remain a strong alternative in the national capital.
However, Lamba did not specify the exact time when will she leave the party, whether before or after the Assembly polls.
She also took to Twitter saying that she was shown the way out from the AAP MLAs Whatsapp group when she had questioned AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal over their defeat in Delhi LS Polls.
The AAP MLA shared screenshots where it can be seen that she was removed from the group by Dilip Pandey who contested from North East Delhi in the General Elections.

Over her removal from the group by Dilip Pandey, she said that it is not his fault, he has just been asked to remove her from the group, otherwise Mr Pandey was a great man, with a great personality and is an honest and hard worker.
She further said that she is saddened over his defeat in the LS polls and respects him with heart.
Her journey has been a bit rough in the party in the last several months - be it the objection to AAP's controversial resolution regarding revocation of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's Bharat Ratna or her Twitter spat with Saurabh Bharadwaj.
