Police refute report about firing in Anantnag

Srinagar, May 28 (UNI) A spokesman of the Jammu and Kashmir police has refuted media reports about the firing in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Monday evening.

He said the news is baseless and incorrect as no such incident has taken place.


Taking to micro-blogging site twitter spokesman said “ Some sections of the media have circulated the news about a #firing incident# at Bijbehara.

 

The news is strongly refuted as baseless and incorrect as no such incident has taken place”.
