Jagan Mohan Reddy to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala tomorrow

Vijayawada, May 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister designate Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his family members will offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the famous hill shrine in Tirumala on Wednesday.

Officials here on Tuesday said that the flight carrying Mr Reddy and his family members would take off from the Gannavaram Airport, near here, at 5 pm this evening and arrive at Renugunta Airport at around 6 pm.

He would reach Tirumala by road around 7:30 pm tonight.

Mr.Reddy, his wife Y S Bharathi, and daughters Varsha and Harsha would stay in the Padmavati guest house inTirumala and they will worship the Lord in the early morning on May 29.

Mr.Reddy is visiting the hill shrine for the first time after having been elected as YSRCP legislature party leader.

Chittoor District Collector P S Pradyumna, Joint Collector Girish, Superintendent of Police Anburajan and TTD officials were making arrangements for his visit, the officials added.

After completion of worship at Tirumala, the Chief Minister-designatre would take off for Kadapa. Later he would go to his constituency Pulivendula by road. He is likely to visit Idupulapaya to pay homage to his late father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy at the tomb.

Mr Reddy would also offer prayers at Ameen Peer Dargah and participate in prayers at a church in Kadapa.

Kadapa district Collector C Hari Kiran said the district administration is making all arrangements for Mr Reddy's visit.
